Julija created her home in a Secession style house, built at the beginning of the twentieth century. The interior is full of colors, the eastern spirit is appreciable. Rich red tones dominate in the spacious corridor. In the living-room warm red shades blend with orange and purple, which play in the eastern carpets and cushions. High windows are covered with curtains from glossy Indian silk. Oak table, bookshelves set between the windows up to the ceiling, authentic tile heater makes a theatrical impression. As a balance to the main space, the bedroom is white and minimal. On the wall in front of the bed there is a Shekespeare’s sonnet made from ceramics. The theme of Vilte’s, Julija’s daughter’s, room was given by the fireplace decorated with poppies. The motif of poppies repeats on the closet.
